2011 Teacher Training Workshops
If you are unable to attend a course in January, don’t worry more workshops will be scheduled for February and March!!
The Teacher Training Workshops listed above will be located at:
Harris County Department of Education
6300 Irvington Blvd., Houston, TX 77022
You have the option of attending the training in two parts, offered on two evenings OR as one full-day session. Part One is required for first-time participants and for those who are beginners with NXT Robots or new to Robotics. You may sign up for Part One and Part Two at the same time, or for Part Two after completing Part One. If you can only attend the first part of a full-day session, you will need to sign up for Part Two at a later date.
Numerous training sessions will be held in Houston from December through March. Interested teams in other cities may attend the sessions via webinar.
Other training sessions will be scheduled in central locations throughout the region and in neighboring counties. We will monitor the location of registrants and plan training sessions accordingly, but we strongly advise registrants to attend HCDE training as soon as possible, rather than wait.
If you have any questions about the Teacher Training workshops please contact Ayan Martin at aymartin@hcde-texas.org.
